DeuKo for all

General information

A good DeuKo is a DeuKo where everyone feels welcome and can participate with as few worries as possible. That’s why this year, too, there will be a team dedicated to Inclusion & Feel Good.

At DeuKo 2025, we are placing a special focus on diversity, equality and inclusion. There will be contact persons for different needs as well as measures for safety and support, including an emergency box with various aids. There will be places to retreat to in the Motorwerk to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

Bar staff, security, Infopoint helpers and Feel Good Managers will be trained. If you feel uncomfortable, you can use the safe question “Where’s Tine?” and get help immediately.

Accessibility & safety

  • Accessibility: The Motorwerk has accessible toilets and an elevator.
  • Cooperation with SAFETY.brands: You will receive a wristband with a QR code at check-in, which provides important telephone numbers and addresses in an emergency.
  • Get home safely: There is a meeting point and a list at the Motorwerk where you can arrange to meet up with other participants and organize car pools. This way, nobody has to walk home alone in the dark, even if you want to stay longer than your own group.

Feel Good & Behavior

  • Feel Good Managers: Feelgood managers will be out and about at our parties again this year. They can be recognized by their sashs/scarfs and walk around at our parties. If you need their help, use the safe question “Where is Tine?”.
  • Free hygiene products: Hygiene products are available in the toilets.
  • Retreat options: A quiet room in the Motorwerk is available, for example, for people who are observing Ramadan, are traveling with a baby or simply need a break. Contact the Infopoint if you would like to use it.
  • Rules of conduct:
    • Only yes means yes. We accept a no and respect boundaries. We reserve the right to exclude people from the event in the event of harassment.
    • Look out for your friends: Speak up if someone is not behaving well or needs help. What someone finds funny when drunk can spoil the evening for others. Look out for each other. Rotalove!
    • Disposing of garbage: Help us to keep the DeuKo clean. Please use the bins provided for our garbage and lend a hand when we see something.
  • Patience & respect:
    • At large events there can sometimes be waiting times (e.g. at the checkroom or food counter). We try our best to ensure that everyone is taken care of quickly at the checkroom and food counter. Bear with us if it takes a little longer.
    • The DeuKo is organized and supervised by volunteers. If you notice anything, please let us know or help us directly. Rotaract means a hands-on mentality.
    • We let people talk and listen. Our helpers are assigned Our helpers are tasked with managing the DeuKo in the best possible way. Please support us by listening to them.

Food & intolerances

We would like to offer catering that is as inclusive as possible. If you have any allergies or intolerances, please report them to DeuKo@rotaract.de by 17.3. so that we can take them into account.

Party & volume

  • There will be strobe lights and loud music at ÆDEN.
  • If you like it quieter, you can use the outdoor area, one of the quieter corners/bars of the club or go for a drink in one of the quieter bars in Kreuzberg.
  • Alternatively, many districts or clubs offer a cozy get-together beforehand.
